US warehouses and retail backrooms live on spreadsheet inventory. You do not need BarTender to turn an Excel SKU list into scannable thermal labels. mylabelmaker is a free browser barcode label maker: design once, load CSV, print one CODE128/UPC label per row on any Zebra supported by Browser Print.

What you can print

Prepare Excel

  1. One row per label. Headers in row 1: e.g. sku, name, bin, qty, upc.
  2. File → Save As → CSV UTF-8 (important for special characters).
  3. Avoid merged cells and blank header columns.

Design the inventory label

  1. Open app.mylabelmaker.com.
  2. Pick size: 2×1 for product stickers, 3×2 for bin tags (see sizes guide).
  3. Add barcode → value {{sku}} or {{upc}}, format CODE128 or UPC-A.
  4. Add text: {{name}}, optional BIN {{bin}}, QTY {{qty}}.
  5. Variables panel → paste/upload CSV → preview each row → Print.
Scan test: Print one sample and scan with your handheld or phone app before running 500 labels. Quiet zones (blank margins) around the barcode matter more than font choice.
