Save and export label designs

Great label software lets you save and export work so designs are not locked to one machine or brand. mylabelmaker stores designs in your browser and exports files you control.

What you can save today

• Autosave, every change persists in local browser storage on that profile.
• Saved labels library, keep reusable designs in the app (same browser).
• Export label (JSON), download an editable design file (includes layout and batch data) via Options → Export label. Re-import later on any computer.
• Copy ZPL, native Zebra printer language for ERP, WMS, print servers, and Browser Print jobs. Guide: ZPL for integrations.

Multi-format exports for other devices

In the app Options menu you can download:

• PNG, high-resolution raster at your printer DPI (best for email, docs, other label apps)
• JPEG, same layout with solid white background
• SVG, label image packaged for vector-friendly workflows
• PDF, single-page document sized to the physical label for desktop print or sharing
• ZPL (.zpl), download the same native Zebra job you can copy to the clipboard
• JSON, full editable design + batch data for backup and team handoff

1. Design in the browser.
2. Print via Browser Print.
3. Export JSON for backup or team handoff.

Design now, printer later (or different brand)

1. Build the label at real inch sizes and DPI.
2. Export JSON (and ZPL if the target is Zebra-compatible).
3. Use PNG, JPEG, SVG, or PDF from Options when the other app needs a standard file.

ERP / warehouse systems

Design visually → copy ZPL → inject into your queue. No redesign in a proprietary desktop tool.

Tips for portable designs

• Use real label dimensions from day one.
• Prefer native barcodes over pasted screenshots.
• Keep a JSON export after major revisions.
• Match DPI to the final print device when possible.
